About Title Associates of Columbia, LLC

Our Roots Run Deep
Title Associates of Columbia, LLC resides in the Cook-Harlan Professional Building located at 104 West 6th Street in the heart of Historic Downtown Columbia, Tennessee. When you walk through our front door, you’ll enter a place full of rich history.
The house was built in 1846 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historians believe Nathan Vaught, a Maury County Master Builder of the time, was involved with the building project based on some of the home’s features such as the decorative moldings.
During a restoration in the 1980’s, a log house was discovered hidden inside the walls of the living room. The original log dwelling is estimated to have been built between 1805 to 1813.
While you’re here, take a stroll around back to see our towering pecan tree and the last barn standing in downtown Columbia. This beautiful tree was planted in 1903 and still produces pecans well over a hundred years later. The barn was built in 1846 along with the home. We think they’re both pretty spectacular.
